I have been using one of your PGB-2017R-5 units in my aircraft for several years in my aircraft. Based on that experience I have ordered the PRO-10 for a neighbor as a gift for the heating season but she has not yet put it into service. When my current unit expires, I will be ordering one of the PRO-10 units to replace it.

Our HVAC contractor installed CO Experts monitors about five years ago. They gave us a couple of good warnings. Once the batteries gave out, it was a no-brainer to continue with the same units. Fast shipping, great communication. Definitely recommend.
I purchase these CO alarms because of there low ppm reading and the 5 year operational life. They are much more expensive than other brands. This recent purchase was to replace a CO Experts alarm unit that has a failed battery after only 3 years. I also notice that this new unit is already a year old in the box. Is it also going to fail early? This will make the cost too high, per year of service and I will be forced to purchase other brands in the future.
Is there any warrenty program for early failure?
